Crops harvested during the 2006 vintage resulted in grapes of exceptional quality, possessing ripe stone-fruit flavours of peach and apricot beautifully highlighted with a hint of melon. Combined with restrained French Oak maturation, we III Associates are sure you will be impressed and delighted with this premium wine. This wine also displays distinctive characteristics, which are only obtained from fruit selected from particular individual vineyards. The Splinter Chardonnay has only a hint of oak, but a barrel full of flavour.

After all… we utilise the experience of one of the best winemakers, combine this with some of the best fruit, & only produce this wine in years of exceptional fruit quality. Consequently we did not release a 2006 vintage! By virtue of your sharing in our latest release you will find The Splinter Chardonnay has a hint of oak & a barrel full of flavour.
