The 2006 growing season produced intense fruit, which translated to a rich concentrated Shiraz wine. The nose is complex with perfumed lifting of the French oak. Highlights of ripe berry and spice and hints of cigar box. The palate has rich, concentrated flavours of berry and spice leading to a long finish with clean stylish tannins. The wine has all the attributes of a classic McLaren Vale Shiraz and will reward those who wish to cellar it.
